The Butts Retreat

Mine Host: To be confirmed

The closest of all the pubs to the 'Butts Park Arena' (opposite in fact), the Butts Retreat is also the largest establishment in the immediate area.

Previously named the Fob Watch in recognition of the area's early watchmaking history, in later years changed to the 'Summerland Tavern' and now the 'Butts Retreat'.

It has a large open area with central bar, there is a poole table & dart board to the right-hand side.

The walls are adorned with pictures of sporting celebrities fromthe world of Rugby, Boxing, Speedway, Athletics and Cricket.

There is good disabled access at the front of the building through the main doors.

There is a garden to the rear of the premises with tables and benches.

There are also some nasty road works going on to the front of the premises at the moment. There will be losing approximetely half of the frontage (sore point).
