Known to older drinkers in Coventry as Ma Coopers, owing to a landlady of the original City Armsin Earlsdon.

Unfortunately now in the possesion of Wetherspoons, the bear is cheap but not a lot more can be said than that.

Too many ales are kept in my opinion, far better to have less beers (kept well) than the six/seven at a time which are neither here nor there.

Service, well pretty much the norm for Wetherspoons (staff inexperienced, everything but serve), well certainly in Coventry.

It hapens to be part of a run so you can't pass by and they may get it right one day.
